Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen

Hi! I’m Alison. My life profoundly changed directions when I received counseling, which inspired me to pursue a career in counseling.

I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama in 2015, followed by a Master’s of Education in Counseling from Auburn University in 2017.

I have five years of experience working in public school systems, with experience in elementary, middle, and high school students. After that, I worked as a mental health counselor at a local college and eventually started my practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

I love working teens, college students, young adults, and adults who desire to learn more about themselves while navigating the heartaches of life. Emotional, mental, physical, creative, and spiritual exploration are integrated throughout the counseling process. 

Clients 13 years through adulthood are accepted with both in-person and telehealth sessions available in the state of Alabama.
